Prière

for viola (or corno inglese) and organ. Prière is a three-part meditative composition. In the introverted, expressive, calm first part, the thematic material, which has both tonal and twelve-tone references, is exposed and varied in many ways. Harald Feller is a professor for organ at the Munich University of Music and has received several composition prizes for his works. He played the famous organ part in the legendary film "Schlafes Bruder".
