Uranus – The Magician

Uranus, The Magician, from Holst's immortal music, "The Planets", brings magic from the score into the concert hall. Holst has written a score and Ralph Sauer has transcribed it in such a way, that the frightening sounds, harmonies and quirky dance-like rhythms are perfectly meshed for 14-part Brass Ensemble with Timpani and Percussion.

• 4 Trumpets in C
• 4 Horns in F
• 3 Trombones
• Tenor Tuba
• 2 Tubas
• Timpani and two Percussion parts

This work of about 6 minutes is suitable for advanced performers.
