Quintet in E, Op. 51

Kuhlau wrote three quintets (Opus 51) for flute and strings; was influenced by the passionate and dramatic music of Beethoven; wrote eight operas, a piano concerto, much piano music, music for flute and piano, music for one, two, three and four flutes, three piano quartets, one string quartet, four sonatas for violin and piano.
