The four etudes

for tambourine, triangle, cymbal pair and bass drum with mounted cymbal belong to the standard repertoire for orchestral auditions. Additionally, they provide the opportunity to concentrate on the "smaller" percussion instruments and to develop a personal performance style.

The etudes are notated clearly and encourage freedom of interpretation. They are therefore suitable for all ambitious percussionists, from members of youth orchestras through brass bands and professional symphony orchestras.
