Songs for Christmas

The hornist Thomas Swartman has for the first time arranged a selection of the most famous classical Christmas carols for horn ensemble. Swartman is hornist at the Mainz State Theatre, horn teacher at the Peter Cornelius Conservatoire and director of the Mainzer Hornensemble. With great care, he arranged the classical Christmas carol repertoire for horn quintet (horn quartet) and shaped each piece into an evocative setting with a festive sound of wind instruments.
