Two English Ayres

Two songs originally found in the collection “Reliquary of English Song,” have been edited and arranged to make a wonderful short set for young singers. The first, “You Gentlemen of England” is a tunedating to the time of Elizabeth I (1533-1603) and is vigorous and lively. The second set is “The British Grenadiers,” a traditional marching song which will allow your young singers a chance to engage themselvesphysically and sing with the natural energy all directors are trying to harness.
